This product has a story behind it. So I’m going to tell you the story before we get into whether or not the item was any good.

Originally, I was sent this product for review. But I never got it. See, we’ve been having this mail thief making the rounds recently and I suspect that particular parcel was part of the few that I lost. Not very pleasant.

Luckily for me, my housemate had actually picked up this product for me without my knowledge because my hair have been absolutely shocking recently. (Isn’t he sweet?) And he was introduced to this product by the SA so I guess it was just as well.

According to Activance, this product is said to be the fast and effective solution for thinning, damaged and lifeless hair. The star ingredient is Rhodanide which is a natural and essential molecule required in hair. But our every day actions of washing and shampoo-ing hair, styling, chemical treatments etc are constantly stripping our hair of Rhodanide. So Activance actively puts the rhodanide back into our hair. I think. The science of it is somewhat beyond me.

Now, I don’t have much issues with hair thinning. I do drop a lot of it but there seems to be a never ending growth of new hair because if anything it’s way too thick for my liking. But dry and damaged hair? Yup and yup.

How to use

Directions: Wash and towel dry your hair. Shake bottle, apply over hair and scalp. Massage in, leave in and style as normal. It can also be applied to unwashed hair. For external use only. Store below 30C away from direct light.

Usage: 2.5ml (8 to 10 sprays) daily or 5ml (16 to 20 sprays) every 2nd day. For thinning hair, concentrate on the affected area.

I’ve used this for about 3 weeks now. Here’s what I think:

• It smells like a men’s fragrance. I’m insanely sensitive towards perfume. But luckily, no headaches from this one.
• No more dry hair! Huge tick!
• Non-sticky after application. Leave it in and style as normal. Perfect!
• Glowy hair, glowy hair!

Did it do it’s job? Yes. Would I repurchase? Yes!
